Auto Body Components

Supplying key auto body frame components to automakers
G-TEKT uses in-house computer simulations when designing and fabricating the optimal die for making auto body components. Moreover, we carefully manage the tolerances for die with complex curved faces using coordinate measuring machines. Quality-assured die makes it possible to produce highly efficient and high-quality pressed products. G-TEKT continues to lead the automotive industry with advanced technologies.

Dashboard

The dashboard is installed below the windshield, in front of the front seats. It separates the engine compartment from the passenger compartment and is a connection point for the pedals and the air conditioning system, among other parts. The dashboard helps to reduce noise and makes the body stronger.
Side structure

The side structure is made up of pillars and side sills. These components must be strong; they ensure the integrity of the passenger area during a collision or rollover. They must also have some flexibility in the range of shapes, as these shapes are limited due to the exterior design.
Rear seat reinforcement

Rear seat reinforcement is the wall between the passenger area and the trunk. It is also connected to the side body, so it affects the vehicle’s strength. Seat belts, child safety anchors, audio speakers, and rear windshield wipers, among other items, connect to this component.
Back panel

The back panel, found in the very rear of a vehicle, connects to the bumper. It joins the side body and floor, and so significantly affects the torsional rigidity of the body and the strength of the trunk opening.
Frame

The frame is the basic structure extending the length of the vehicle body. Crossmembers are used to connect it longitudinally. A frame must be both strong and rigid to withstand the impact load during a collision.
Floor

The floor includes the bottom of the passenger area and is attached on top of the basic frame. The floor is the barrier between the inside and outside of the vehicle, therefore several dampening materials are used here to reduce vibration and noise.
